Something Goku wasn't able to do." Tien replies, "The Saiyans sound more frightening the more I think about them. Right?" Bulma replies, "Vegeta did the same thing too and it was because he trained in that form. Although, he seems to be in control of himself. To answer your question, he'll go back to normal if you cut off his tail as far as I'm aware." Bulma replies, "While I have no evidence to support this, I hypothesize that a Saiyan can also go back to normal if the source of Blutz Waves disappears." Krillin replies, "Let's hope you're right and that Raditz doesn't start going crazy. Genius." Blonde Launch asks, "He'll go back to normal, right? Because I don't think I'll last two seconds in bed with that." Krillin replies, "Geez, way to pervert things, Launch. Apparently, this generates the same substance the light of the moon emits called Blutz Waves that they require to transform into that." Krillin replies, "I get it now. I remember Vegeta saying something about being able to create an artificial moon using only their energy and the planet's atmosphere. How can he transform with no moon? There's no night on this planet." Bulma replies, "That's simple. Meanwhile, the rest of the Z-Fighters watch, and Tien comments, "Whoa! That's incredible! Not only did Raditz push back Frieza's attack but Goku's bomb completely vaporized it!" Gohan asks, "I know, right? Dad and Uncle Raditz are awesome!" Krillin replies, "I don't get one thing though. Frieza is left dumbfounded while Raditz laughs and asks, "Is that the best you can do, Frieza?" However, he dodges it but his attack goes straight for the Spirit Bomb but it vaporized when it got there. Suddenly, he yells out, "Kaioken!" Raditz activates the Kaioken in his Great Ape form which gives him the strength to push it back to Frieza. As he watches, Krillin asks, "Whoa! That's pretty freaky!" Gohan yells out, "Come on, Uncle Raditz! You can do this!" Frieza's attack keeps pushing Raditz back until he stops and struggles to push it back. Everyone is horrified but to their surprise, Raditz catches the attack which does push him back a bit. Not just yet! Besides, Raditz should be able to keep him busy for a while longer." Suddenly, Frieza's attack keeps getting bigger until he throws it at Raditz. Frieza ascends to the sky while Piccolo gets up and tells Goku, "Now! Do it!" Goku replies, "No. A vein then forms on Frieza's head and he grinds his teeth and yells out, "YOU MEDDLING PEST!!! I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY SUFFERING THE SAME FATE AS THIS PLANET!!!" He raises his arm with his index finger sticking out and smiles sadistically while forming a sphere of energy. It's not gonna be long until he raises his power to match with yours. Raditz then asks, "Aw! What's wrong Frieza? You starting to lose your cool? Good! It'll be even more satisfying when you die by the thing you despise most! Hahaha!" Goku then thinks to himself, Thanks, Raditz, this is exactly what I need right now. Shocked, Frieza yells out, "D-Damn it! Me, struggling against a giant ugly ape? How embarrassing! He just won't rest until I've been pushed to the very limits of my patience!" He starts chuckling maniacally and clenches his fist which digs his nails into the palm of his hand, causing it to bleed. However, he's smacked by Raditz's tail which sends Frieza crashing into a rock but he emerges and fires two large ki blasts at him but Raditz smacks all of them away with a swipe of his arm. Raditz raises his foot and stomps where Frieza is but avoids its time. Raditz had transformed into a Great Ape much to the horror of Frieza and the rest of the group. Luckily, Raditz got the idea to transform into a Great Ape, today! However, this still wasn't enough as Frieza made quick work of Piccolo. That's where Piccolo decided to step in after he had fused with Nail to become the ultimate Namekian warrior. However, it required Raditz to distract Frieza and so he did but in return, Frieza beat the living crap out of Raditz. Luckily, Goku had one last resort, the Spirit Bomb. Previously on Dragon Ball Z ! After a long and difficult battle with Frieza, the brothers have seemingly run out of tricks up their sleeves.

Elsewhere during their conversation, Tesfaye listed Kanye West, Arca and Tyler, the Creator as people he'd like to collaborate with soon: “Arca’s great. “After Hours” is a balance of the beauty and the madness that consume The Weeknd. However, it doesn't sound one hundred percent complete just yet. The songs bleed together in an effortless precision with sonic references tying any unraveling threads together in the end. On “After Hours,” The Weeknd’s vision is clear - he’s crafted a cohesive album and visuals with a real narrative arc. The good times and upbeat melodies soon end as the ominous atmosphere looms over the final two tracks, “After Hours” - a track with heavy, pulsating beats and desperate lyrics - and “Until I Bleed Out.” The abrupt, distorted ending of “Until I Bleed Out” suggests an unhappy ending for The Weeknd. The Weeknd rounds out his ‘80s saga with “In Your Eyes” and “Save Your Tears,” both featuring groovy electro-keyboard synths that are destined to become hits. His hedonism continues in “Blinding Lights” - a track packed with layers of luminous synth textures and trembling hooks that are unmistakably ‘80s-sounding. He makes it immediately clear where his head is at with the blunt opening line, “Never need a b-, I’m what a b- need.” Roughly 25 minutes into the album, the vibe changes and the bangers are introduced - starting with “Heartless,” a dark, bass-heavy Metro Boomin-produced track that has The Weeknd leaning into the toxic side of his persona. Next up is the autobiographical “Snowchild” - featuring lyrical memories from the singers’ upbringing in Toronto, Canada, and his come up in the music industry. It’s followed by “Scared To Live,” a slow-burning ballad that has The Weeknd apologizing for mistakes he made in his past relationship. The Weeknd sets the mood for “After Hours” with the haunting tracks “Alone Again” and “Too Late” - loaded with ominous keyboards and bass - before shifting into the achingly painful “Hardest To Love.” The album has 14 tracks and runs 62 minutes long, beginning with gentler, quieter songs. It’s distinctively a Weeknd sounding album, with a suite of songs showing remorse for a failed relationship - one that seemed doomed from the start - and offering hints of self-reflection along the way. Sonically, “After Hours” features electronic keyboards, flourishing synths and punchy - often dark - bass lines. But with “After Hours” The Weeknd has recorded an almost entirely ‘80s R&B dream album. On “Starboy,” he ventured into the ‘80s realm, sampling The Romantics and Tears for Fears on one track. “Starboy” solidified Tesfaye as a global superstar and shot him into uncharted territory sonically. He carried this strategy into his 2016 album “Starboy” - a glossy, disco-funk effort boasting collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Future, Daft Punk and Lana Del Rey. He showed his versatility by proving he could survive in the mainstream realm by incorporating a brightened sound and less overtly profound lyrics. A new approach was in order for The Weeknd with an ambitious pivot on the 2015 album “Beauty Behind the Madness” garnering massive commercial success. The newness of his self-loathing lyrics and cutting beats had grown stale. While his early blend of soulful R&B and lyrical tropes about unfulfilling drug-use and sex were fresh on his trilogy of mixtapes in 2011, his 2013 label debut “Kiss Land” proved to be a disappointment. The Weeknd has launched his next era with “After Hours,” his most self-realized album yet. It’s as if he’s spent the last four years scouring the underground music scene, creating complex synth rhythms to support his lo-fi R&B style to make his balladry feel thrilling, alive and hedonistic again. On his fourth studio album, “After Hours,” The Weeknd has returned to his early roots - the dark, smoky atmospheres, fragile falsettos and quiet confessions. He’s released three lo-fi R&B mixtapes, smashing pop hits like “Can’t Feel My Face” and the Daft Punk-assisted “Starboy” in 2016. Since Abel Tesfaye emerged as The Weeknd in 2011 with his moody and mesmerizing mixtape “House of Balloons,” he’s kept listeners on their toes, intentionally or not, dividing his career into chapters marked by each album’s distinctive sounds and aesthetics. That said many Turks ARE that opportunistic and are probably only being nice to you so that you’ll spend money in their shop, but the point is that they generally believe in their own sincerity and are hurt by your suspicions. I see it with tourists over here – all a Turkish person need do is say hello to them and they’re fleeing in fear that an attempt will be made to swindle them out of their hard-earned cash. I’m not sure if this has much to do with religion and how much it’s died out in the UK – good or bad thing, who knows? – but what I do know is that I’d leave my door unlocked here whereas I’d never dream of it in the UK.įollowing on from the lack of materialism, the truism that the more wealth a people have, the more stingy they will be in closing their pockets. They say it’s their culture, but really they’ve just not forgotten basic morals that I vaguely remember my Grandmother doing. Their spare bed, time and a generous loan are always there if you need it and people really do help each other. I’d say most Turks are about 90% less materialistic than most Brits and therefore are less likely to guard their money and be more generous. In my experience this kind of thinking gives you a reality check and lifts a pretty huge weight from your shoulders.Īlthough times are changing in Turkey and kids are getting the same iphone, ipad and ipod as any other child, family always comes first. It helps us not to plan or think too much about the future because it’s true who really knows what is around the corner? When you think about it do we have control over anything that happens to us? We can take steps in the right direction, but that’s about it. Turks generally don’t talk about what has happened or what they hope will happen, or if they do then they do it briefly before commencing with lashings of in-the-moment happiness. The popular saying ‘inşallah’ (which is almost as effective as the equally popular but more superstitious ‘mashallah’), means God willing, and is generally used as an I hope sort of response when someone is talking about the future. My mother-in-laws’ favourite word as a mediator in the regular disputes that flare up in our family is ‘bırak’, which literally translates as ‘let go’. As is being overly opinionated and stubbornly fixing yourself to certain arguments. Saying everything that comes into your head and being overly candid is often no fun to those in your company. Note: Apparently they also know that it’s illegal to upload photos of your child onto the internet, despite the excess of photos taken of them without yours or your child’s permission. And despite some questionable games, they really know how to make your kids feel special and wanted, even when no toy is in sight. Those of us who live here will know that these home remedies are sometimes a little off the wall, and no I don’t think the cold is the sole cause of ‘gas’, nor that green poo in a nappy means ‘they got cold’… but they mean well and children are considered property of the community, which you need when you’re a new mother squinting in the glare of first-time motherhood. There is also no end to the kindly amcas and teyzes (uncles and aunts) to help you haul off your pram, suggest you breastfeed over here out of the wind and advise home remedies for that cradle cap or colic. Find yourself on the bus into town with a wailing baby and the row of normally stroppy teenagers will immediately come to your rescue pulling sloppy faces and cooing over said baby until they stop. The days of interfering with how others bring up their kids is falling by wayside (to some degree), and when kindly expressed they will respect your wishes and stop them from guzzling spoonfuls of sugar from the sugar bowl. The Turkish are excellent, and I mean excellent at making children feel special and giving them a voice in the world. So here are the positive things I’ve learnt since living in Turkey. I’ve made a special effort with this post to be a little more positive, as I realize my humour can be so dry sometimes that it completely passes people by. Thats great to know, I guess a lot of people have been spreading mis-information then. Thanks for the quick reply, I haven't messed with the settings, I will try reducing the emulated cpu clock to see if that helps. You can achieve the same thing in newer builds if you want to, it's just a matter of settings.Īnd this isn't one of those games anyway. If you're using the default settings, they do have better performance in some games, but that's in exchange for breaking the gameplay in major ways. The older builds do not have better compatibility at all. There isn't really much you can do other than that assuming you haven't changed the graphics enhancements and hacks to something other than the defaults. You can try reducing the emulated CPU clock a bit. I've been a lurker on this forum for a while, so I've seen people say stuff like older builds might have better compatibility with certain titles, if this is true then what build do you guys recommend? What settings do you guys recommend for this title, I am using a oneplus 6 the game runs perfectly on menus and cutscenes, audio is fine too, until you get into the gameplay, loads of frame drops and audio issue's, any help would be appreciated to improve performance. With AA and these textures, the game looks miles better. Nice mod, the textures look better, even more so when you force AA using Nvidia Inspector. Some guys complained about the excessive High-Dynamic-Range effects in the game, I think they look quite neat with some colorcorrection, so I included the EnbSeries hack from Boris Vorontsov with an adapted config. The texture sizes are untouched to ensure best performance. For more information and comparative screenshots, check out the post thread on NFS-Planet. Be aware that the mod changes some of the DirectX 9 files, so programs like Punkbuster may misinterpret it as a cheat in online play.Ĭontinue reading for installation instruction.
